Additional Information
Jon writes: Sly & the Family Stone started out playing popular songs ("reworked" by Sly) at local gigs. I have a feeling this was recorded during that time.
All songs written by Sylvester Stewart except "Loose" (written by Otis Redding), "Watermelon" (written by Herbie Hancock), "Hi Love" (written by Alair/Lind Stone), and "Deck of Cards" (written by T. Texas Tyler).
"Watermelon" and "Hi Love" feature Miss Elsie Smith on sax.
